 Steiff's new innovative series, Teddys For Tomorrow, focuses on sustainability and the conservation of our environment and resources. Each limited edition is made from non-animal materials such as hemp, linen, bamboo viscose, recycled polyester fibers, pineapple leather, violas, imitation leather and stuffing made from recycled PET bottles or wood wool. Each white tag edition proudly wears a special metal chest tag that displays Steiff's very first company logo from 1897 featuring Steiff's iconic elephant.

13"/34cm, 2021, A romantic start to spring. Lavender Rabbit's soft  lavender plush body and beige head and ears  made from soya bamboo viscose and cotton velvet is matched with a tulle ruffle with golden dots woven in, her oversized ears and paws with elongated bent limbs add to her adorable character, while the recycled PET stuffing defines her elegant shape. Her expressive eyes are enhanced by a gold framed iris and airbrushed eyelids, hand stitched black floss nose, airbrushed mouth.. When it comes to sustainable use of resources, she is well ahead of the pack.  Fully jointed, certificate, made in Germany, handtag explaining the material Lavernder Rabbit is made from.
