LITTLE JACK HORNER MOUSE™
R. John Wright Dolls, Inc., Mother Goose Mouse Series
Little Jack Horner sat in the corner,
Eating a Christmas pie;
He put in his thumb, and pulled out a plum,
And said, "What a good boy am I!"
The fourth piece in the charming series of costumed mice based on the old Mother Goose nursery rhymes and inspired by the art of Kate Greenaway. Measuring a diminutive 3" tall, Little Jack Horner is made of the finest mohair plush and jointed at the neck and shoulders, Little Jack features realistic coloring, hand embroidered features, glass pupil eyes, inset whiskers, resin hands and feet, and a leather tail.
Inspired by an original illustration in Kate Greenaway's Mother Goose, Little Jack Horner is outfitted in a period costume consisting of a 2-piece aqua silk suit with ivory silk ruffles at the neck and cuffs and a jaunty felt hat trimmed in silk with a fine feather plume. He comes complete with his Christmas pie - a custom-made pewter pie plate topped by a realistic felt crust! A built-in metal stand provides easy display for Little Jack.
Like the previous mice in the series, Little Jack Horner is limited to only 150 pieces worldwide. Each mouse will come inside a deluxe RJW presentation box with the accompanying signed and numbered certificate of authenticity and the forms for owner registration.
