Truman made this majestic species a part of the Official Seal of the President of the United States. In celebration of the pride, power, and peace that the eagle embodies, Steiff is pleased to introduce our Commemorative Eagle Teddy bear as the latest addition to our Great American series. This limited-edition collectible continues our series of Great American bears joining past editions that have honored the likes of Washington, Lincoln, and Uncle Sam. These Teddy bears typified the true spirit of our country. 

12", 2021, This Great American Spirit bear made from cinnamon curly mohair tipped in dark brown with coordinated wool felt paw pads, black hand stitched floss mouth and  nose that has been slightly shaved and artfully airbrushed,and dark safety eyes. His head is slightly tilted to the right to give hime an inquisitivy look.  On his left arm rests a mohair bald eagle with his own button in ear and tag.  His beak and feet are made from orange felt with airbrushed details on the beak. the Great American Bear wears a campaign style button on his chest depicting an eagles head and a field of stars in the background with red, white and blue ribbons.  Fully jointed, certificate and made in Germany.
