13",2007, The first in the “Steiff Vintage Series,” where Steiff will recreate showcase pieces that look exactly like the originals; with all of the wear and natural aging accounted for, is this 1908 bear. Throughout the hand production of this replica, the bear is aged almost 100 years; the right paw pad has been shaved down to reveal some of its stuffing and the mohair has been airbrushed to reveal years of wear; made with the same boot button eyes, growler, and underscore button (never before reproduced) as the original.
